About Us

We come from a beloved detail shop at Gilbert & University in Mesa called Car Cleaners Detailing which opened in 1978. It had a single detailing bay, an automatic drive through carwash and 4 self-serve car wash bays that were the high school hang out in the 80’s. In 1996, Jose Martinez was brought into the small family business and developed his specialty of paint perfection and restoration. In 1997 to keep up with the demand for custom auto detailing, the self-serve bays were converted into detailing bays and Holly was “adopted” into the family. She helped run the office and keep the “behind the scenes” processes flowing in which she has developed long time customer relationships that continue today. In July 2019, the detail shop was sold to investors and changes were made that didn’t support the mom-n-pop family dynamic we were part of for so long. In January 2023 we stepped away from the investors and was given an opportunity to continue utilizing the integrity, quality and professionalism that was instilled in us many years ago and opened Top Level Auto Detail. Sadly, Car Cleaners Detailing permanently closed its doors on January 31, 2026. We are thankful we've had the chance to grow up with such amazing mentors who shared and passed on their unmatched skill, knowledge, and professionalism to us, and we continue with what they started 48 years ago. We wouldn’t be here without the support of our long-time customers and this amazing new space we now call our “home away from home”. We are highly experienced in working with old weak fabrics to stubborn stains and odors, reviving the dirtiest interiors, leaving them dry, fresh, crisp-n-clean, and never greasy. Our detail technicians are skilled in paint restoration and master the task of making any vehicle look “better than brand new”. They have an eye for different paint conditions and the different stages they are in, and you can rest assured any vehicle in their care will be transformed to the best condition it can be. They are all experienced in old vintage cars, classics and show cars, specialty and rare vehicles, to your current daily driver or weekend ride.
